I’ve done some soul searching and have had to do some thinking of how I want to move forward. Namely, since COVID and a recent move have put a strain on my money and resources, I’ve come to determine that I will not be putting out as much erotic romances as I have in the past. I’ve also had to stop my monthly promotions since they were costing me a lot of money. I loved being able to give samples out of my shorts, and hopefully, people would be interested in the following stories in a series. But my finances are a bit strapped now, and $50 of monthly fees charged by the mailing list service and Prolific Works was just too much of a strain. So, I’ve had to suspend the promotions.

For those just stopping by having read some of my backlist, I’m sure you’ll be happy to know which stories I plan on working on finishing. I am directing my attention to finishing two series, one that I am co-writing with Marilyn Vix. I am almost done with the third story in the “Thankful in Vegas” series with Marilyn, and that story will finish the romantic suspense novella trilogy. I also have started and am plotting out the last story for the “For the Women of Rome” series. Which basically means, I won’t be starting any new series under this pen name. I do have one other story series I started, very similar to sci-fi/fantasy books like Anne McCaffrey and Marion Zimmer Bradley’s series. It likely may come to fruition, but it isn’t a priority yet. The priority has truly been surviving COVID and financially getting stable.

For now, this is the best thing to move forward into this new decade that has started out so chaotic and with tragedy. COVID has affected so much of our lives, and it almost seems like another world a year ago. I do hope all is well with you, you’re safe and your family well too. I do know many of you appreciated the monthly promotions and even sent me messages letting me know how you appreciate my writing. I thank you for your support and encouragement. I will continue to write, but it is likely to be in other genres and with other pen names. That could be my biggest secret. This is just one of a few pen names that I write under. But I will keep the others a secret as well. I do love being mysterious, and secrecy is quite sexy. I guess that’s why I’m enjoying romantic suspenses so much right now.
